Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time HR Director to join our team in Lafayette, LA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance

  • Coach and develop a high performing management team and drive employee retention, development and overall performance.

  • Provide proactive expert advice and coaching to management and employees on employment and performance issues when appropriate.

  • Participate in the development of plans and programs as a strategic partner with a specific focus of the impact on employees and translate the strategic agenda and tactical business plans into HR programs

  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning of new programs/strategies and regulatory changes that will impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of employees

  • Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps

  • Develop workforce planning strategies, succession planning, and programs to identify key talent for the organization

  • Understands and monitors workforce demographics and stay always aware of company talent needs

  • Responsible for conducting termination reviews with management to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, in addition to applicable HR laws and regulations

  • Responsible for creating and updating all job descriptions for employees and recruiting to attract and retain quality candidates

  • Review and update compensation program(s) to drive employee performance and retention

  • Ensure compliance with all employment law and HR related laws and regulations. Including DOL, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO/AA, and DOT Drug and Alcohol testing. Provide appropriate training and resources to managers and employees for compliance.

  • Partner with Corporate HR in developing and implementing initiatives and strategies as determined by Superior

  • Develop appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people resources of the company

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other business-related degree

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Human Resources management role within the oil and gas industry is preferable

  • An experienced leader and human resource professional with 7-10 years of Human Resources experience

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

An excellent facilitator who is experienced in delivering solutions and resolving conflicts. Knowledge of Human Resource systems, Internet software, Payroll systems, spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
