Education and Experience

  • An undergraduate degree in education, Spanish, or related field is required, a graduate degree is preferred

  • Experience teaching Upper School Spanish

  • Demonstrated classroom management skills and excellent Spanish skills

  • Experience with communicative, proficiency-based approaches preferred

  • Ability to include technology elements into all aspects of instruction

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Report to Director of Upper School

  • Teach four or sections of Spanish and either coach one season or teach an additional section (or an equivalent duty)

  • Lead international trip to Spanish speaking countries

  • Serve as Advisor

  • Participate in class trips and Winterim

  • Actively participate in the extracurricular life of the School

  • Additional duties as deemed necessary by the School

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $70,000. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and 401(k).
