The Air Quality Program{rel="nofollow"} (AQP)within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a *Lead PSD Permit Engineer (Environmental Engineer 5) *position. This position is located in our *Headquarters Office in* *Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"} Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.   As the Lead PSD Permit Engineer, you will provide a variety of modeling, emissions inventory and related analytical services to the Air Quality Program (AQP). You will lead the Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permitting activities for the agency and work to ensure that permits are issued in a timely manner, and in accordance with federal and state statutes and regulations. You'll also provide program-wide leadership in project management, communication, training and mentoring responsibilities.   The mission of the Air Quality Program (AQP) is to protect and improve air quality in Washington. The Air Quality Program's vision is clean, healthy air and climate for all of Washington.
