Community Living Professional:

Salary:  $16.59/hr - $17.20/hr (Depending on Med Tech Certification)

Job Type:  Full Time & Part Time 

Job Description:

The Applicant will support and assist individuals with daily living skills, prepare and assist with meal planning, grocery shopping and laundry. Applicant must be creative, organized, and enjoy scheduling and implement outings in the community.

Positions Available:

​Full Time and Part Time positions available

all located in Charles County

Duties Include but not limited to:

  • Implementing goals

  • Monitoring/documenting progress

  • Administer medications

  • Assist individuals move from room to room and around their homes

  • Assisting individuals with laundering and house cleaning

  • Supporting individuals with their own choices

  • May be required transport individuals on outings in the community of their choice.

  • Position requires flexibility during the day when individuals are at the day program ie: assist with medical appointments if necessary, assist if individuals are sick

     

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more

  • Clean Driving Record with 2 years driving experience and less than 2 points on driving record

  • Experience working with disabled adults preferred

  • Basic Computer Skills

  • High School diploma or GED
