Hourly Salary:  $24.15/hr, $50,240 annually 

Job Type: Full-Time     

Shift:  Monday -  Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm 

Hours per pay period:  80          

Location: Charles County, MD

Job Description:

Spring Dell Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Employment Transition Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in disability services and a proven track record of successfully assisting people with disabilities in obtaining and maintaining employment. The Employment Transition Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing employers to create inclusive work environments, and providing ongoing supports to ensure successful employment outcomes.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise and coordinate the Career Bridges program.

  • Develop and implement person centered transition plans for each participant.

  • Provide job coaching and support to the participant.

  • Collaborate with community organizations and employers to secure employment opportunities for each participant.

  • Identify the participant's strengths, interests and abilities through assessments and interviews and develop and train employment goals.

  • Utilize teaching methods, materials, curriculum, and modifications appropriate to meet the participant's needs in the areas of communication, technology, problem solving/ critical thinking, teamwork, personal appearance, financial management, professionalism, self-determination, self-advocacy, resume' writing interview skills, and job searches.

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more

  • Clean Driving Record with 2 years driving experience

  • Experience working with disabled adults preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

  • Associate Degree Preferred

  • Supervisory Experience

  • Basic Computer Skills

  • DDA, LTSS and ICM experience a plus
