Inventory Control Manager

XPDEL is looking for an Inventory Control Manager (ICM) to join our team. This position works on the warehouse floor, overseeing inventory receiving, picking and inventory audits. As an (ICM), you will play an essential role in maintaining inventory health of the warehouse and implementing best practices. Our facility provides services to multiple clients in the warehouse, so no day is the same. This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while fulfilling orders.  

Key Result Areas  

  • Performs cycle counts and daily inventory audits.

  • Analyze inventory discrepancies and identify the root-causes.

  • Identify solutions and implement best practices.

  • Train the associates on best practices for quality.

  • Input data and generates audit reports.

  • Receiving, QA, and inventory management of products.

  • Hold general understanding of internal/external technology.

     

    Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in overseeing Inventory Control practices at a large warehouse/ fulfillment center

  • Manage teams of 10+ associates on fulfillment processes

  • Detail-oriented, reliable, organized, forward-thinking, proactive, and approachable

  • Comfortable learning new software and providing feedback on tools used

  • Warehouse/distribution experience is required; start-up experience is a plus

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required

  • Overtime will be required based on business needs

  • Must have basic math skills and be computer savvy

  • Valid Driver's License

  • The potential should be able to stand, walk, squat, and bend

  • The ability to lift to 50 lbs.
