Physical Therapist Assistant

MUSTS: Regulatory Requirements: - AA Degree from a school or college approved by the American Physical Therapy Association. - Current BCLS certification. - Current and valid Colorado Physical Therapist Assistant License.

DUTIES: - Responsible for administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as supervised by the staff Physical Therapist. - Administers treatment and physical agents as directed by the staff Physical Therapist, after the physical therapist has evaluated the patient. - Assists with restoration of patient functions to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. - Assists patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. - Participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. - Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs.

PAY: Hourly Wage: $23.38 - $35.07 per/hour PAY: Every two weeks

BENEFITS: Full Benefit package available

STARTS: Upon selection of successful candidate

DURATION: Perm full-Time

SHIFT: 40 hours per week, typically days

SITE: LA JUNTA, CO
