WorkSource Oregon Operations Support in LA GRANDE, Oregon

Operations Support is the go-to for our low-income programs in Union County. This person will support office operations by answering phones and assisting walk-ins and program intake work. The individual in this position should demonstrate strong analytical skills and deliver excellent customer service in many different programs. QUALIFICATIONS: * High School diploma or GED required. * One year office experience or any other related work experience is desirable. * Education and/or experience working with low-income individuals or in specific energy assistance programs is desirable but not required. * Valid Driver\'s License required. * Must pass pre-employment drug and criminal history background check. DUTIES: * Assist in the general operations of the county office and performing energy assistance intake. * Client intake and data entry for all energy assistance programs. * Contact clients and other staff, as necessary, for information needed to complete applications submitted by clients. * Assist in the homeless programs, including intake, and verifying appropriate documentation. * Meet with clients on applications and submit homeless programs vouchers to appropriate staff for approval. * Answer phones and route calls as necessary from internal staff members and the general public. * Process paperwork for energy assistance programs and send it to the Administration office as well as individual filing assignments to assist other staff within the office. * Process incoming and outgoing mail. * Perform general back-up for the Office Specialist. * Copying, mailing, and faxing of documents to clients, partner agencies, and other Community Connection offices as necessary. * May run errands for the office, including to the grocery store and post office as needed. * Other duties as assigned. Hours: * 20 to 29 hours per week. Wage and benefits: * \$15.37 - \$20.14 per hour. * Paid vacation and sick time, and eligible for retirement benefits after one year of employment.
