JOB REQUIREMENTS: Food Service - Dietary Aide / Server Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Dietary Aide / Server to join our top-notch culinary team at our Riverside Transitional Care facility. Our kitchen provides meals for 110+ residents at Riverside Transitional Care and other residence halls of the campus. What You\'ll Do - Provide a high-quality dining experience for residents by not only cooking but serving attractive and nutritious meals. - Duties include quantity cooking, dish room duties, cleaning duties, serving resident\'s meals, restocking and other kitchen responsibilities. - Prepare meals for residents in assisted living on our campus What You\'ll Need - Ability to multitask is a must - Comfortability working in a fast-paced environment - Quantity cooking experience, a plus but not required - Experience working with seniors or in a long-term care community, preferred Other Responsibilities of Job: Place food servings on plates or trays according to orders or instructions. Clean or sterilize dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, or facilities. Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that guidelines, such as those for special diets, are followed. Examine trays to ensure that they contain required items. Load trays with accessories, such as eating utensils, napkins, or condiments. Determine where patients or patrons would like to eat their meals and help them get situated. Prepare food items, such as sandwiches, salads, soups, or beverages. Record amounts and types of special food items served to customers. Carry food, silverware, or linen on trays or use carts to carry trays. Remove trays and stack dishes for return to kitchen after meals are finished. Monitor food preparation or serving techniques to ensure that proper procedures are followed. Take food orders and relay orders to kitchens or serving counters so they can be filled.
