Job Summary:

Trane Technologies is hiring a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager in La Crosse, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for demonstrating leadership at the facility and being a positive force for safety and change.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as full-time, o n-site our La Crosse, WI facility and is considered safety-sensitive.

What you will do:

  • Assures compliance with OSHA, lockout/tagout, PPE, ergonomics, workers compensation, safety training and EPA compliance.

  • Successful implementation of programs to meet local, state, and federal compliance, including employee training.

  • Establish and maintain facility specific management plans for hazardous waste and non-hazardous materials.

  • Maintain all environmental reports, permits and recordkeeping requirements to operate the facility and on site equipment.

  • Audit treatment, storage, disposal and recycling facilities that handle, process and dispose all operational wastes.

  • Perform root cause analysis on accidents and injuries to determine specific actions needed to prevent their reoccurrence.

  • Conduct safety inspections in the facility.

  • The employee will be required to stand and walk through manufacturing and/or laboratory facilities throughout the day. The employee may also be required to climb to elevated positions, or stoop to low levels to make physical observations. The noise level in the facility is moderate.

What you will bring:

  • 5-10 years of experience in EHS leadership position within a manufacturing environment; heavy fabrication background preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $120,000-$155,000/annually.

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
