Responsibilities: As an Employment Trainer, you work one-on-one with our participants in their employment settings. You help them learn work skills such as punctuality, appropriate dress, and following directions to their individual employment goals. You also provide on-the-job support including facilitating their integration at the worksite, ensuring their learning of specific job duties, supplementing their work as necessary, and systematically fading direct support. You may provide transportation for participants when required as well as encourage them to learn how to use other forms of transportation, monitor pedestrian safety skills, and provide assistance with wheelchairs.
