JOB REQUIREMENTS: Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. Reporting directly to the Director of the School of Visual and Performing Arts (DVPA), this position provides administrative support to the School of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA). The Academic Department Associate (ADA) exercises discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance to the operations of the unit and is delegated responsibility for the administrative matters internal or external to the DVPA. Independently and with minimal supervision, the ADA is responsible for administrative support in the following areas: VPA media deadline monitoring and document design; research and data compilation; media / marketing coordination for VPA events; general assistance during VPA events; ticketing platform operation; internal and external communication; understanding policies and procedures; monitoring budgets and accounting; and ongoing day-to-day operations of the unit. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of high school diploma.
