Job Summary

The role will be responsible for managing end to end rewards providing expert support for the broad range of Compensation & Benefit activities and services, including Compensation, Benefits and Global Mobility. It will ensure compliance with ZB policies, government regulations, establishing and implementing rewards policies.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • 30%: Manage the company C&B policies and practice, working AP Total Reward Director and his team. Design, evaluate and modify compensation & benefits policies to ensure that programs are competitive and in compliance with legal requirements.

  • 20%: Manage job evaluation, annual merit increase process, including promotional increase and salary adjustment, and various incentive bonus program for sales team and non-sales team

  • 10%: Manage Personnel expenses, including annual budget and quarterly forecasts

  • 10%Propose and update Work rule/HR policies, and manage relating processes

  • 10%: Manage SAP & SuccessFactors HRIS and vendors management in C&B areas (e.g. DB/DC, Payroll, Social insurance, Payroll and related vendors)

  • 10%: Cope with Employee relations and issues with HRBPs, including local authorities

  • 10%: Manage relevant projects and tasks - Participate in global/domestics projects, leading and supporting relevant tasks

Expected Areas of Competence

  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration & relationship building skills with various stakeholders

  • Clear and effective communicator with ability to adapt communication style according to the business context

  • Ability to effectively act as a liaison across cultural borders

  • Strategic thinker with good commercial business sense

  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver outcomes in a timely manner

  • Deep knowledge of Japanese labor laws & social insurance, income tax rules and regulations

  • Project management beyond Japan

  • PC Skills/Tools: Success Factors, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)

  • Proficient in written and spoken English to a business level (TOEIC 800+)

Education/Experience Requirements

  • More than 10 years experiences in Compensation & Benefits role in a multinational company

  • Bachelor or Master degree (Human Resources/Law or Economics major preferred)

  • Health & Safety Management certification (preferred)

Travel Requirements

  • Domestic/overseas business trips several times per year
