Boeing Ukraine is seeking an BCA Systems Engineering Manage r to join our team in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

  • Active communications with Customer (Boeing Commercial Airplanes Engineering Groups) on forecast and scope of upcoming work, required resources and possible risks.

  • Interact with Customer for confirmation and approval of project and processes requirements, including quality, budget and terms. If necessary, clarification of technical requirements.

  • Define project goals (including quality goals, timely work implementation and Customer satisfaction), focused of organization’s and business unit goals achievement in accordance with project development strategy and requirements of internal documentation.

  • Tracking of project goals achievement.

  • Define resources required for project execution: together with technical leads develop staffing plan, organizational chart, define required tools and processes. If necessary, coordinate with Systems and other discipline leaders, business units and Capacity & Capability leadership.

  • Project execution: monitors progress of work and its accordance to requirements, systematic analysis of work results, reports to leadership about work progress and results.

  • Develop and keep up to date necessary project documentation: project plan, performance metrics etc. Identify risks and possible negative consequences and take appropriate actions.

  • Provide systematic receiving of the information about Customer’s satisfaction, analyze this information and develop corrective actions. Reports to leadership about results of analysis of Customer’s satisfaction.

  • Looks for opportunities to further development of projects, builds long-term relationship with Customer, searches and implements B2B solutions.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher in an engineering or science related field.

  • 5+ years engineering leadership experience.

  • Work experience as part of international team.

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the Ukrainian and English language.

  • Experience in a people management position.

  • Existing authorization to work in Ukraine.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in technical management and oversight of projects and resources.

  • Experience leading and mentoring large engineering teams.

  • 4+ years of experience in engineering.

  • Experience developing and executing project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals for the team.

  • Flexibility to support various time zones and off hours meetings.

  • Risk analysis and risk management skills.

  • Good presentation skills.

  • Ability to make decisions in uncertain environment and take risks.

  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, initiative, integrity.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
