Nestle Ukraine, worldwide leader in Food and Beverage industry, successfully working and developing in Ukraine, is announcing an opening of a senior level position of FOOD Category Lead Nestle Ukraine based in Nestle Regional Head Office in Kyiv.

Job mission: make a difference by creating your legacy of success through high performance and people’s development in the dynamically developing category of FOOD in Ukraine.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Category Growth Strategy development and execution:
  • Develop & execute business plans for the category growth across the trade channels;

  • Define the optimal product range, relevant pricing architecture and promotional activities for outperforming competition;

  • Elevate the image & visibility of Nestle products matrix at the point of sales;

  • Build insightful knowledge of consumer and shopper trends, behaviours and Category Growth Drivers and reflect them in the corresponding business plans and actions.

  1. Leading Commercial Planning Cycle to success:
  • Champion Integrated Commercial Planning working with all key stakeholders;

  • Active participation in the new product development process;

  • Consolidating knowledge and analytics of respective channels/customers including:

  • sales dynamics and channel profitability/ channel dynamics/ competition tracking and promo investments evaluation;

  • Assessing competitive intensity for proper benchmarking and actions.

  1. Leading people:
  • Leading a team of managers and specialists for creating a high performance unit;

  • Driving the notion of alignment and sense of urgency with all key stakeholders in marketing, sales, supply chain and customer service teams;

  • Coach and develop people to help them win both internally and externally.

Main requirements:

  • Successful leadership experience in managing business (culinary category knowledge is a plus);

  • Strong, distinctive and inspirational leadership skills;

  • 8+ years of experience in category \ sales channels management in successful FMCG company operating in Ukraine;

  • Strategic thinking, strong analytical & communication skills;

  • Flexibility and inclusivity working across the complex matrix organisation;

  • Result focus, proactive cooperation, initiative;

  • Proof of success impact in driving high performance in sales;

  • Solid skills and expertise in project management;

  • University Degree;

  • Proficient MS Office (especially MS Excel) user;

  • Fluent in English and Ukrainian;

  • Valid driving license.
