Intel Supply Chain Procurement Manager in Kulim, Malaysia

Job Description

  • Manages a team of supply chain professionals and/or people managers for effective and efficient procurement operations.

  • Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement and the balancing of supply and demand, and is accountable to meet stakeholder demand.

  • Partners with key stakeholders to understand all business requirements and derive the procurement operations strategy.

  • Drives the development of new standards, procedures, and best practices for the procurement function.

  • Partners with segment leads to introduce breakthrough/innovative solutions, automate procurement processes, and transform procurement operations.

  • Ensures attainment of department goals, supports senior management to establish goals, key performance indicators and development initiatives for the department.

  • Owns the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement operations within assigned area of responsibility or territory.

  • Works with other procurement leads and teams on local or regional projects and initiatives.

  • Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.

  • Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Candidate must possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing Management, Business Administration or Similar field

-10+ years of relevant experience in Procurement, Commodity, Supply Chain, Global Supplier management and experience working in diverse global, cross functional team.

-Managerial experience will be added advantage.

-Procurement ERP System Knowledge for Direct Raw Materials (SAP highly Desired)

-Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office (Visual Basic/Excel Macro), MS SQL, Data Analytical skills with ability to gather insights from data that drive decisions and Power BI Knowledge

-Professional Certification (APICS, PMP) and LEAN Six Sigma will be added advantage.

-Commodity knowledge (i.e Memory, PCB, IC, Passives)

-Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills, collaborative and proactive style

-Detail-oriented with organized, high quality work

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
