Intel Mfg Systems Software Development Engineer in Kulim, Malaysia

Job Description

As Manufacturing Systems Software Development Engineer, your will:

  • Designs, develops, sustains, tests, validates, and debugs software to enable specific factory, wafer process, packaging features, capabilities, solutions, and/or reference platforms for Intel manufactured products.

  • May work across multiple layers of the software stack spanning firmware, drivers, operating systems, database platforms, storage platforms, network/firewall, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, automated material handling systems, and/or applications for mission critical distributed enterprise systems spanning a large number of clients/servers and applications across multiple operating systems, specific technology, product/platform, or Manufacturing segment.

  • Carry out recovery and troubleshooting as part of 2nd level support in cooperation with our customers.

Qualifications

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering or related fields

  • At least 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment, software development, project management, software quality assurance

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Has basic to intermediate programming and scripting skills (i.e. Phyton)

  • Experienced with Elastic search (ELK), Lamas and Kibana is added advantage

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • A team player

  • Resourceful creative and innovative in coming out with ideas to resolve issues

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
