Job Overview:

AVEVA Instrumentation Administrator will be responsible for Providing support for admin activities for AVEVA Instrumentation projects. They will be responsible for setting up project for AVEVA Instrumentation and day to day administration activities, manage delivery of project deliverables. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. Knowledge of AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Net/AIM is an added advantage.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge on Project setup, Data management, Data class libraries and Class definitions

  • Development and Management of Catalogue & Symbols

  • Configuration of drawings template/ SEED for Termination, Loop, Hook-up, Installation Drawings, Wiring Diagrams and Cable Block Diagrams

  • Knowledge on configuration of Lists, Reports, Rules. Management of Class Definitions in conjunction with Centralized Instrumentation and database and Tag master list for the ALS field. Setup Data replication on workshare environment and Manage data exchange between multiple locations

  • Customize reports from AVEVA Instrumentation to prepare Instrumentation Index, Instrument List and Cable schedule etc.

  • Manage the Instrument List, Index and Datasheet templates as per Company standards.

  • Setup and customize Compare and Update

  • Develop or support the development of Standards, guidelines for the management of the tools

  • Develop Plan, Company standards, User guidelines for the management of Instrumentation data base that covers but not limited to the management of Datasheet template, View grids, Datasheet grids

  • Prepare the Instrumentation data for the interface and data population with AVEVA Net

  • Expert user of SQL, Excel with ability to automate upload, refine and process the data using Excel.

  • Ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Degree in engineering or equivalent technical diploma. Strong understanding of current engineering design, drafting applications and engineering data integration software packages

  • At least 5 years of experience of AVEVA Instrumentation Administration, utilizes current systems technology, tools, and processes to achieve these aims. Good understanding of engineering practices & project execution concepts

Preferred Qualifications and Education:

  • Experience in using AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Diagrams and AVEVA Net will be an advantage

  • Experience in Interface management with other tools specifically AVEVA tools to integrate the information
