Involve Asia Product Designer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer with a minimum of 2 years industry experience in UIUX, Product Design or equivalent, to join our in-house product team to improve overall product and customer experience. You will be working closely with the business, tech and data scientist teams, and use data (quantitative and qualitative) to produce high-quality designs to scale and optimise the product performance and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.

  • Explore design patterns and generate a diverse range of innovative concepts.

  • Develop visually appealing designs that align with the company's brand and design guidelines, while paying attention to typography, layout and visual hierarchy.

  • Has conceptual familiarity with information architecture and cross-platform flows. Considers potential states (errors, successes, dead-ends) in their work.

  • Conduct research, and usability testing, and gather feedback to continually enhance the user experience.

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data and QA to implement and refine designs.

  • Shares work early and often and seeks out constructive feedback from the design team and stakeholders.

  • Play an active role in other designers' work—from research to asset production.

  • Continue to learn about the different core design capabilities and practice them.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies, incorporating them into designs as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

A) Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (UX/Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Multimedia, or similar degrees preferred)

B) Software & Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Figma (E.g. auto-layout, components is a must)

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Optional)

C) 3 Key Attributes (Individual Traits):

  • At least 2 years of work experience as Product Designer or similar role

  • An online portfolio of professional work (MUST)

  • Keen eye for design, details and aesthetics

  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
