POSITION SUMMARY:

Develop, implement and manage of regional rewards programs and processes for SEATH (Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong) to achieve consistency and operational excellence for the Total Rewards as well as HR function, and drive competitiveness and retention. Lead the implementation and execution of local rewards programs and processes to achieve consistency and operational excellence for the HR function, and drive competitiveness and retention. Participates in local and regional strategy development by identifying business needs and strategies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Supports HR counterparts of relevant business units / locations in achieving operational excellence in conducting annual global compensation events including performance management and salary; bonus and LTI; and communication of rewards and incentive programs.

  • Drives introduction and maintenance of tools, processes and templates to assist with rewards management in line with Total Rewards principles; supports communication of Total Reward principles within organization and collaborates with HR partners on application of tools and processes.

  • Actively participate in the regular annual compensation activities including compensation planning cycle, promotion review periods, salary survey participation, etc.

  • Assesses, advises and manages regional benefit programs such as healthcare, accident and life insurances; align with Corporate counterparts on implementation of global programs and administration.

  • Perform job analysis and evaluation exercises for new and existing roles, and monitors regional rewards markets to ensure market competitiveness; advises regional management and Corporate Total Reward of important trends.

  • Supports management, tracking and reporting of staffing costs to construct budgets and provide regular monthly forecasting, working in close partnership with Finance teams.

  • Maintains HR reports as required; provides reports and communication on human resources activities and initiatives to the business head, region and corporate as required

  • Review and develop regional C&B policies, procedures and guidelines. Monitor its effectiveness and efficiency

  • Support Workday related administration Compensation

  • Work closely with the HRBP to enhance the Total Reward operational efficiency

  • Ensures compliance with statutory labor requirements related to compensation and benefits

  • Support in other HR projects as and when required

QUALIFICATIONS- FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

  • Command of rewards principles and tools; understands complex terms and conditions, and is able assess costs and benefits; current with market practices and offerings.

  • Strong business acumen with high capacity for data, analysis and recommendations related to compensation and benefits

  • In-depth project and change management experience

  • Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written

  • Adept at managing and influencing across cultures

  • Strong Microsoft Office, Excel skills and previous HRIS experience

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

Experience:

  • 10+ years experience in Human Resources with Compensation & Benefits Specialties

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
