Job Description Summary

AKA (ASEAN, Korea and ANZ) is a key growth region for GE Healthcare with an aspiration to reach >$1B over next 2 years by accelerating penetration in existing market/customer segments and expanding into adjacency. Given AKA region’s growth ambitions, we are seeking a Growth Leader to optimise GTM, identify growth adjacency, project manage, and drive and execute growth opportunities in collaboration with sub-region organisation. This role will report directly into the AKA’s Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer (CSMO).

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Commercial Execution:

  • Collaborate with the CSMO to execute growth strategies aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead the implementation of prioritized AKA-wide projects, in particular Strategic Key Accounts (SKAs), and ensure PMO rigor utilizing best-in-class project management frameworks to drive commercial throughput.

  • Engage laterally across the region and sub-regional leadership to maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders and to ensure outcomes.

  • Identify consolidated drivers of strength and weakness in market, competitive intelligence/competitor strategies/actions, and underlying secular themes to explain commercial performance and areas for targeting counter-measures.

  • Consolidate commercial market metrics, working in tandem with the ITO, OTR and Com Ops teams to ensure consistency of actual and forecasted performance of commercial metrics.

Growth Development:

  • Frequently collaborate with Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, and other relevant divisions to identify potential growth adjacencies that can deliver operating margin growth

  • Validate growth opportunities by conducting deep research and analysis on critical and prioritized problems, including market dynamics, customer behavior, unmet needs and best practice case studies;

  • Organize cross-functional/BU session and workshop to share findings, evaluate options define potential solutions, and build associated business case;

  • Ultimately, s/he will establish well supported solutions with specific recommendations that will enable executive management team to make critical go/no go decisions.

Supporting Business Function:

  • Conduct thorough analysis and synthesis of market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to drive growth development opportunities

  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel models and spreadsheets for forecasting, budgeting, and financial analyses.

  • Leverage analytical and quantitative skills to interpret complex data, generate insights, and recommend evidence-based solutions for business challenges.

  • Implement and optimize processes for efficient information flow, decision-marking, and project management within and across teams.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, healthcare or related field.

  • 7-8+ years’ experience in marketing, sales, strategy, healthcare or related field.

  • Leadership skills – capable of leading teams and shaping strategy.

  • Project management skills – capable of orchestrating large scale complex projects across multiple countries on time and on budget.

  • Being an Excel ninja – you should know the difference between a H/V/X lookups for a start.

  • Familiarity with ROMI, ROI, IRR, portfolio-based waterfall payouts, and other advanced financial metrics etc.

  • Masterful ability with PowerPoint

  • Being a complete self-starter. Being able to work on the basis that you will be an individual contributor and that you won’t be able to delegate your work to others. You will be expected to work with multiple discrete stakeholders and go from 0 to 1.

  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Strong analytical and process skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or a master’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field 10+ years’ experience in marketing, sales, strategy, or related fields.

  • 3-5 year management consulting experience from a top tier firm.

  • Prior work experience as a physician in addition to business experience would be preferred.

  • Deep expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding Healthcare product/industry acumen.

  • Ability to code in Python, SQL querying, DAX scripting, and deep understanding PowerBI will be highly valued.

  • Prior experience in building a 0-1, any venture or startup experience.
