Google Expansion Sales Specialist, Google Workspace in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Minimum qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience selling into enterprise companies and managing existing business with them.

  • Experience working towards business goals in Software as a Service (SaaS) sales.

  • Experience building customer relationships at an executive-level, and delivering results in a cross-functional/matrixed environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience promoting enterprise SaaS products in the Public Sector in Asia market.

  • Understanding of Google Cloud products.

  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally at executive-level’s within prospect companies.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

As a Sales Specialist, you'll be responsible for developing the market success of Google Workspace. On the Google Workspace team, we help businesses work smarter and run their organizations more effectively by delivering our cloud-based collaboration, productivity, and security tools. In this customer-oriented role, you will work individually, and with the Sales team and partner ecosystem to focus mainly on the existing accounts’ business, and also prospect, qualify, and develop Google Workspace opportunities. You'll work to build a pipeline and work with the multiple stakeholders including account teams to build out the customer solution and drive the agreement.

  • Work with the Google Account teams and partner ecosystem on a territory strategy to generate and develop business growth opportunities for Google Workspace to maximize business results in the territory, and develop opportunities with large enterprise customers.

  • Explore and understand complex customer requirements on a business and technical level.

  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor.
