Job Summary:

The main areas of contracted scope are transactions and lease administration and delivered by CBRE Market Teams. They are supported by the Account’s Global Team – which also has a focus on delivering value added scope of services to the client via its’ Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the fields of Property Management, Deal Excellence, Asset Optimization, RE Planning, and Energy Transition.

The Account is seeking a SME Business Analyst to join CBRE’s Global Team. This is an exciting global role (reporting into the Account’s Portfolio Strategist in Singapore) and working with CBRE market teams around the world.

The analyst will primarily support the East Markets The role will suit a candidate who enjoys working with and can communicate effectively with different cultures. As such, some previous international experience would be preferred, along with strong people and communication skills. The candidate will be joining an established, successful and high performing CBRE Team supporting one of the Firm’s leading global clients.

The role will primarily entail (but not limited to) supporting the Portfolio Strategist in the fields of Energy Transition and Deal Excellence.

In Deal Excellence, the role will entail working with CBRE and the Client Market Teams to roll out best practice sharing and replication across East markets. With Energy Transition (a key strategic priority for the Client), the focus will initially be supporting the markets with RE input, monitoring progress, global reporting and program managing projects in this regard. This is directed to help facilitate their EV Roll Out programs – primarily for the Destination Charging (off site) strand of EV Strategy.

The role will also require flexibility to support Portfolio Strategist and Market Teams with all SME functions ie. Asset Optimization and RE Planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with Portfolio Strategist to deliver pre-agreed Objectives and Success factors.

  • Support markets in operationalizing strategy - training and providing resource in utilizing key RE Levers.

  • Program Management & Measurement of initiatives.

  • Global reporting.

  • Arranging and Leading Market WiP calls.

  • Material preparation - for calls & trainings.

  • Best practice sharing across geographies.

  • Leading established initiatives (eg. Dark Kitchens).

  • Data analysis - to support / fast track market programs.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS include the following:

  • At least 2 years of commercial experience in a data driven/ research, general management or consulting role.

  • Go getter attitude & a problem solving mindset.

  • Good presentation skills essential – creating and delivering material.

  • Good with number crunching and moderate excel knowledge – pivot tables, etc.

  • Should be a self-starter and proactive in approach – some prior experience in program management will be a plus.

  • Good communication & interpersonal skills, prior experience working with regional or cross functional teams.

  • Open/flexible to work across different time zones.

  • Flexible and ability to multitask – running several market projects in tandem.

  • Strong attention to detail, and 100% reliability to hit agreed deadlines.

  • Comfortable and disciplined to work remotely, albeit part of a virtual global team.

  • Fluent English speaker.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Real estate experience working for Multi National Clients is preferred

  • Degree Qualification

  • Masters or MBA would be useful
