VF Corporation Assistant Manager, System Project and Support in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the L3 Business Systems Support team supporting internal VF users and Vendors/Factories for INFOR Nexus FM (Factory Management including shipments), Invoice Management modules. Also responsible for providing L3 support for shipment related issues for S4HANA / FMS / REVA / Acadia and NGC systems.

Responsible to drive the relationship with 3PL partners like Maersk/APLL/DHL etc. for resolving any Shipment/ASN related issues. Responsible for development / customization of custom Labels for direct customers. Also to work with VF customer service, VF Enterprise Master Data Management and leading label suppliers like Avery Dennison / Champion Lee / Baoshen / Checkpoint etc. to test/implement any label process changes or to resolve related issues.

Assist the Sr. Manager, systems support in planning, organizing, and implementing L3 support strategies, policies, processes and standard operating procedures. Responsible for INFOR release management including training manuals update and communications to internal stakeholders and vendors. Generate KPI metrics for exception monitoring and proactive resolution on identified processes across business systems.

What you will do:

  • Team Leadership:

  • Provide direct supervision and coaching to the L3 Business System Support team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and development plans.

  • Ensure adherence to team policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Identify and address team performance issues proactively.

  • Technical Support:

  • Possess strong technical knowledge and understanding of common business systems (Infor / 3PL/ S4HANA / FMS / REVA/ Acadia / NGC ) applications.

  • Assist the team with complex technical issues and escalations.

  • Operational Excellence:

  • Analyze support process metrics and identify areas for improvement.

  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Maintain knowledge base documentation for common issues and solutions.

  • Ensure timely resolution of L3 escalated user tickets and adherence to SLAs.

  • Communication and Collaboration:

  • Maintain clear and open communication with the team, stakeholders, and users.

  • Escalate issues to appropriate teams effectively.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless support across the organization.

  • Training and Development:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for the L3 Business System support team on new technologies, processes, and procedures.

  • Identify and promote opportunities for professional development for the team.

Skills for Success

Years of related professional experience: 5 years

Educational position requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

What we expect you already know:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Exposure/support experience in Logistics processes or supply chain systems

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a helpdesk/support environment.

  • Strong knowledge of business systems and IT support processes.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
