What do you contribute?

  • In your new position, you will work in the engineering department for the hardware and software development of door and step systems as well as air conditioning systems for our ultra-modern and environmentally friendly high-speed and intercity rail vehicles.

  • You will play a key role in the development and integration of these systems.

  • You will be involved right from the start of the project, e.g. by evaluating and commenting on the technical aspects (in particular mechatronics, electrical engineering and software).

  • As the project progresses, you will take on initial project management activities from an engineering perspective and create specifications for suppliers for subsystems, evaluate their offers, clarify queries and manage changes.

  • You will coordinate with various internal and external partners such as suppliers, factory and other departments to ensure that technical milestones are met.

  • You will be involved in various phases of the project, including initial installation and during the warranty phase where applicable. This diverse environment will allow you to contribute and quickly expand your knowledge and skills.

What do you bring along?

  • You have completed your Master's degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering or (technical) computer science.

  • You also have practical experience (e.g. as a working student (f/m/d) or intern (f/m/d) in the design and development of mechatronic systems.

  • You can read and comment on technical drawings, circuit diagrams, etc. and have no difficulty in evaluating a 3D CAD model.

  • For the extensive interfaces and project work, you enjoy coordinating/communicating with various interface partners.

  • You are business fluent in English and ideally have a good command of German in order to be able to work in our international environment of colleagues, customers and suppliers.

  • Further knowledge such as Microsoft Office, Creo Elements, SAP, AutoCad, etc. is desirable.
