Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.

What your background should look like:

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, edit and proofread documents, including PowerPoint presentations, and other correspondence.

• Conduct monthly, quarterly, annually government transparency registrars filings.

• Support on managing engagement letters and invoice processing with external counsels.

• Support on the documentation of litigation matters in TE’s internal storage system.

• Support in contract management administration (using research tools, filing of agreements etc).

• Support correspondence with inventors for remuneration issues.

• Support docketing of electronic files in an Intellectual Property database.

• Manage travel arrangements, including preparation and submission of expense reports.

• Order office material.

• Schedule conference calls.

• Manage sensitive and highly confidential information with discretion and the utmost confidentiality.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing deadlines and priorities.

• High level of confidence, integrity, and motivation. Must be proactive, responsive, and resourceful.

• Highly flexible and motivated individual with an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

• Must consistently demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and discretion.

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact well with all levels of clients, customers, and internal personnel.

• Appetite for taking adjacent work such as documentation search, government publications.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years in an administrative capacity preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

• Fluent German and English required.

• Very strong skills in Microsoft Office suite -- Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated experience working independently, prioritizing work and handling simultaneous assignments with success and accuracy.

• IT savvy (willingness to learn new tools)

• Ability to deal with, in a calm and controlled manner, the complexity and ambiguity of TE Connectivity’s work environment.
