· Appointed actuary

· Actuarial pricing and portfolio mix support

· IFRS 17 GI client projects and remediation

· Client finance and actuarial transformation including the utilization of ReMetrica and Tyche implementations and managed service arrangements.

· Mergers, Acquisition and Market Entry

· Captive IFRS 17 support managed service

· One-off IFRS 17 Captive set-up including technical accounting papers, policies and processes

How this opportunity is different

The role will provide support to the Head of Actuarial STG APAC in relation to leading and developing the origination, sale and delivery of actuarial consulting services to new and existing General Insurance clients in APAC. Services will be provided in cooperation with the Finance STG APAC team and will report to the Head of Actuarial STG APAC. The role will assist in the hiring, training and management of STG junior actuarial staff in ASEAN and the wider APAC region.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

· Candidates should be educated to degree level and be a qualified actuary with strong track record in actuarial consulting

· Prior experience in a consulting role with a big four accounting firm.
