Job Description

  • At least 7 years of Software Engineering work experience with strong knowledge in Java and related design framework.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Working experience in Big Data and Hadoop framework

  • Working experience on any of the Cloud Infrastructure - AWS/OCI

  • Knowledge on monitoring tools like Splunk, Zabbix, Grafana etc.

  • Good problem solving skills and experience in handling complex production issues

  • Experience in building automation tools.

  • Good communication skills and ability to present in large forums.

  • Ability to be agile and to be a complete team person.

  • Ability to coordinate process and communication with other teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in odd hours / holidays based on pre-decided schedule

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and analyze complex technical coding issues submitted by internal or external clients

  • Own, debug and document complex investigations and resolution

  • Participate in development and implementation of small projects, automation tools.

  • Participate and contribute in design discussion

  • Apply complicated code and testing changes and fixes to resolve issues

  • Create complex diagnostic coding packages that may include front or back end components

  • Propose and lead process improvement projects

  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of solution architecture and data models to prevent or resolve issues

  • Perform root-cause analysis with clients to resolve high complexity issues

  • Share knowledge within team through mentorships, coaching, technical talks and blogs

  • Ability to work in odd hours whenever needed
