Opportunity

The Sr. Channel Marketing Manager, Design & Install Services will lead an exciting evolution of the Direct To Consumer (DTC) service business at Kohler, including Bathroom Design and single-product installation services. A key strategic initiative for the DTC business, Design Services is positioning for significant growth in 2024 and beyond with a strategic investment leveraging the latest design technology supporting a reimagined service experience and go to market strategy. The Field Services and Installation team strives to be recognized as the most sought-after service, install and repair provider. This leader will develop and implement comprehensive, full funnel marketing plans that fuel the expansion of both our design and install services with the objective of driving service volume that yields significant incremental product sales in the DTC businesses. This leader will oversee all aspects of DTC Service marketing, including online and offline user experience, creative and messaging, paid/earned/owned marketing tactics, lead generation, events, partner content, marketing technologies

Primary Objectives

  • Direct ongoing current Bathroom Design Service and business, driving lead generation, nurture, and service volume.

  • Maximize product sale conversion.

  • Maximize services sale conversion.

  • Launch multi-phased re-imagined virtual and in-store design service model.

  • Develop and implement full funnel marketing strategies that drive demand for both Design and Install businesses.

  • Attract and recruit an industry-leading partner network of professionals to service North American markets.

  • Comprehensive business reporting for Design Services, marketing reporting for Install Services.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Owns business responsibility for developing, planning, forecasting, and maximizing both design service and resulting product sales.

  • Lead continued development of omnichannel experience, partnering with Inside Sales and Stores Sales teams to ensure seamless and consistent consumer experiences.

  • Oversee refinement of Design Service and Install Services messaging and creative strategy.

  • Develop full funnel marketing plan including awareness, lead generation, lead nurture and conversion efforts leveraging paid, earned, and owned media.

  • Manage ongoing refinement of robust reporting dashboards.

  • Partner with Design team, design technology vendor, Kohler IT, Digital Product teams to develop and launch initial phase of new design service experience, and to scope roadmap for subsequent enhancements.

  • Partner with Stores team to develop test market plan for white-label design tool rollout.

  • Partner with Consumer Insights, Marketing & Data Analytics to perform trend research, define consumer segmentation, targeting, and test & learn opportunities.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business marketing or related field required. MBA/MS degree preferred.

  • At least 8 years’ of management or leadership experience with a service or design related business with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results required.

  • Supervisory or people management experience required.

  • P&L, strategic planning and/or budgeting experience preferred.

  • Experience in leading business transformation or managing high growth initiatives strongly preferred.

Travel

  • Travel to trade shows, office headquarters, and training as needed, approximately 20% annually.

The salary range for this position is $138,350 - $177,900. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
