Lead Bartender - Immigrant Restaurant & The Winery Bar

Join our top-rated food and beverage team and transform your passion for great food into exceptional guest service—growing your skills in effective selling techniques, proper food and liquor handling methods, and restaurant operations.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests promptly and proactively with a warm welcome

  • Creating a comfortable, relaxing and fun atmosphere

  • Executing and Instilling standards in bar team, with a “lead by example” attitude.

  • Ensuring proper portioning and recipe use for drinks and mixes

  • Responsible for keeping bar storage areas clean at all times and proper handling of glasses

  • Responsible for stocking all areas of the bar and following proper rotating procedures

  • Taking part in monthly inventory.

  • Maintaining complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and DWI

  • Maintaining stock, supplies, and cleanliness of bar and equipment

  • Work with management to design and inspire new cocktails for guests.

This is a full-time position. Early start for shifts is 3pm. Earlier closes on weekdays, with later bar hours on the weekends.

Skills/Requirements

  • Candidates must be 18 years or older to apply

  • Previous bartending experience required

  • Bartending experience within a fine dining restaurant is required

  • Prior knowledge of ordering, inventory processes, and vendors a plus.

  • Candidate must obtain or be able to obtain a Village of Kohler bartending license to be considered for this role.

The hourly range for this position is $9.90 - $12.35 per hour + tips. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
