Sr Staff System Engineer

Job Description

The main tasks will be to:

  • Interface with Musashi based SoC, MPU and MCU design/applications/marketing teams to understand product specifications and hence PMIC requirements

  • Define requirements for new PMIC products

  • Keep updated on SoC/MPU/MCU requirements

  • Visit Japanese customers to gather requirements and promote PMIC products

  • Work with local FAEs to define PMIC system solutions to meet customer needs

Qualifications

【Must】

・Knowledge of PMIC (Power Management IC)

・Applications Engineering, Systems Engineering or Product Definition

・Product Requirement definition

・5+ years of experience, either in Semiconductor or Electronics

・Enjoys building working relationships with many cross-department teams

・Enjoys visting customers to promote products and discuss future requirements

・English:Daily conversation level

・Japanese:Business level

【Want】

・Knowledge of SoC, MPU or MCU systems and power trees

・Knowledge of automotive requirements

・PCB/schematic or Silicon Chip design experience

・Hands-on electronics lab work (e.g. PCB based measurements)

・Customer facing experience

・Datasheet creation

Power Attach Systems/Attach PMIC requires a Japan based Systems Engineer who will join the PMIC Systems and Product Definition team (based in Germany and USA).
