Job Description

This position is responsible for administering, supporting, and configuring platforms within the Pilot enterprise. The position will manage roles, licenses, plugins, and integrations across the platform.

  1. Administer, manage, and execute all aspects of platform activities to maintain functionality, system integrity, and overall health of the platform

  2. Advise on industry best practices towards platform capabilities and processes while delivering solutions to achieve operational goals

  3. Ensure platform schemas and workflows are supported and maintained

  4. Manage roles, licenses, plugins, and integrations across the platform

  5. Assist with fulfilling business requests while leveraging platform functionality and capabilities

  6. Coordinate and/or perform Level 2 and/or Level 3 support for platforms as needed

  7. Collaborate and participate in knowledge sharing across the PMO and leaders in IT, including preparing Knowledge articles within the platform as needed

  8. Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure Guests and Team Members are supported at the highest level

  9. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

  10. Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree required; field of study in technology preferred

  • Minimum five years’ experience in technology or related field required

  • Expert and working knowledge of the Atlassian platform (beyond user level knowledge)

  • Expert and working knowledge of Jira, Jira Apps/Plugins, and Confluence

  • Understanding of additional task management platforms such as ServiceNow and Salesforce

  • Working knowledge of integrations with APIs, web services, file retrieval

  • Working knowledge of network protocols/technology, databases, and application servers

  • Ability to work within a team

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills for diagnosis, evaluation and resolution of complex problem situations

  • Ability to work and make decisions independently to determine the appropriate course of action for issues and incidents

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsiblities simultaneously

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service

  • Ability to collaborate and build consensus within a team, fostering a positive atmosphere

  • Well organized with attention to detail

Additional Information

  • Travel required less than 5%

  • Role will potentially require work outside or normal business hours, including nights and weekends to provide support as needed

  • Role is in-the-office five days a week to maximize collaboration and outcomes

  • General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time, including on airplanes and in cars
