An Electrician Foreman is the person most responsible for success of Commercial Electrical projects, providing leadership, supervision, direction, and support to assigned employees, producing timely, quality project completion with a safe, profitable outcome. Our Foremen have personal experience, skill, and initiative for daily leadership, awareness to anticipate future issues and judgment to manage both. Electrician Foremen are ‘people-leaders’ first, building positive relationships with their team, as well as with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal project management. The successful candidate is experienced leading Electrician craftsmen, strong understanding of electrical systems, codes and regulations, and a track record of success leading others.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, submittal data, etc. for layout and task execution.

  • Demonstrated work history of success leading and developing electricians assigned to commercial construction projects.

  • Experienced in Material & Tool handling organization and management.

  • Able to work safely, accurately, and thoroughly, under time and labor limitations.

  • Ensure the safety of everyone on the jobsite and comply with company safety standards.

    Experience, Training, and/or Certification:

  • Certified Journeyman Electrician with 2+ year experience as a commercial Electrical Foreman.

  • High School or Trade School Graduate or GED.

  • Holds a Journeyman Card in the trade or demonstrates comparable experience.

  • OSHA 10 required and OSHA 30 Preferred.

    Additional Requirements:

  • Punctuality and reliability are the most important skills you need to bring to this job.

  • Work as a part of a team, supervising a team of apprentices and journeymen.

  • Perform basic mathematics accurately and thoroughly.

  • Function capably in extremes of heat, cold and bad weather, indoors and outdoors.

  • Climb and work comfortably at heights on lifts and ladders.

  • Physically fit to stand and walk throughout the workday, reach outward constantly, and often lift/carry up to 60 lbs.

  • Work efficiently in small spaces.

  • Work reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.

  • Exercise fine motor control, with excellent hand-eye coordination.

  • Consistently operate within Company Values and standards.
