Actalent Clinic Registered Nurse in Knoxville, Tennessee
Actalent is currently partnering with a providers office in the Knoxville area in need of a Registered Nurse to join their team. Please see below foe details and qualifications!
Description:
Prepare and maintain patient charts to include insurance, registration, correspondence, laboratory and radiology reports, track and request patient records, slides and films; document as necessary in the charts
Schedule and coordinate appointments, scans and tests; confirm appointments; notify appropriate departments, in writing, of daily and weekly patient schedules
Receive incoming calls to assist patients, physicians and others with patient-related matters; relay diagnostic test results to patients per physician's discretion; conduct follow-up phone calls to patients with problems and "no-shows"
Perform BP, TPR and weight on each patient; responsible for alerting physician of abnormalities
Perform medical history on each patient prior to being seen by physician
Maintain medical supplies in each exam room and office supplies in clerical area
Pre certification/referrals (experience required)
Home health/infusion clinic communication as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
Active RN license in TN required
2+ years of experience required
Strong communication skills required
Specialty experience preferred

1st shift M-F
$30-35/hr, BOE
