Consider working in sales, at our local State Farm insurance agent's office. There is tremendous opportunity in sales, especially when it comes to the important products and services that the insurance and financial services industry provides

We are looking for our next rock star insurance sales professional who can sell, or has the aptitude to sell.

Duties include:

  • Cross-selling existing customers with other State Farm products
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads and referrals
  • Generating quotes
  • Conducting policy reviews and updating policies
  • Processing payments and reporting claims
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Relationship building
  • Customer transactional requests
  • Handling the premium trust bank account reconciliations and maintenance.
  • Handling and adjusting claims in the agent office, such as writing claim checks to policyholders and following up for inspection of the property
  • Handling premium payments
  • Handling billing issues and collections
  • Backup support on sales
  • Handling client risk review more of a consultative review of the coverages, gaps in coverage for existing policyholders (not a sales-related meeting)
  • Liaison from insurance companies to various third parties, such as the Dept of Motor Vehicles, lending institutions, property managers.

  • Be trained on how to sell and use our proprietary customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance

Compensation :

  • Base salary - $24,000 - $32,000 commensurate with experience
  • Sales Commission/Bonus: up to additional $40,000
  • Paid Time off

Since this is a sales position, the opportunity exists to earn based on your performance. Applicants must be comfortable with a partly commissioned-based structure.
