Our client right outside of Raleigh, NC is looking to add a Quality Inspector for a second shift, contract to hire opportunity! Candidates should have a Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent as well as some relevant experience in a quality environment. Candidates should be able to use test equipment, interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, and interpret industrial safety standards. responsibilities:

  • Manage document control activities, maintain check sheets, and ensure compliance with quality, code, and safety standards.

  • Conduct photo documentation of receiving inspections for equipment, components, and other materials.

  • Inspect, test, and validate equipment and raw materials, as well as work in progress and finished goods, to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality System and customer specifications, utilizing various test equipment, gauges, and measurement devices.

  • Review protocols, qualifications, and validation procedures, as well as other related requirements, and adhere to these processes. If a manufactured product fails to meet quality standards, the QA inspector will investigate and report the non-conformance.

  • Collaborate with the team to implement Quality Assurance processes, including inspection checklists, photo documentation, and other quality-related tasks.

  • Work with team members to address corrective actions and identify continuous improvement opportunities using various techniques.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and that necessary materials and equipment are available for job assignments and projects.

  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas and with equipment.

  • Ability to climb, crawl, reach, and stand for extended periods.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
