[Property Maintenance Technician Job Summary [We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual to join our property management company as a Property Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will address common maintenance issues across multiple properties, performing repairs and installations. Candidate must be able to evaluate multiple issues such as; electrical, plumbing, and heating. Property Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties
  • Perform repairs, installations of fixtures and appliances, and replacement of damaged systems
  • Diagnose and repair problems with building heat, electricity, water systems, and septic systems
  • On-call to respond to emergency issues on scheduled nights and weekends
  • Performs skilled and unskilled construction and repair work to buildings and homes.
  • Perform maintenance tasks related to removal of trash, brush and debris from homes and lawn.
  • Mows grass, weed eat, remove pine straw, sticks and pine cones
  • Performs other related duties such as removing hot water heater, blowing out septic lines, locating water leaks and repairs

Property Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Vocational or trade school certification preferred (not required)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing and septic systems
  • Physical ability to bend, crouch, crawl under homes, not afraid of heights, and lift objects throughout the workday
  • General knowledge of dry wall, painting and trim repair
  • General knowledge of the use of common hand and specialized power tools required in the work such as chainsaw, skill-saw and drills
  • Skilled in the use of vehicles and equipment such as dump truck, zero-turn mower, tractor with bush-hog, and weed eater
  • Ability to follow instructions; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates
