Insight Global Field Service Engineer in Knightdale, North Carolina
Job Description
An electronics manufacturing and graphic printing equipment supplier client of Insight Global's is looking for a talented Field Service Engineer to sit on the east coast and travel to client sites, mostly domestically and on the east coast.
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for supporting Printed Circuit Board manufacturers with capital equipment maintenance, repairs, and installation.
Job Duties
Have a complete working knowledge of equipment lines and serve as a company SME (subject matter expert).
Conduct assessments of equipment status.
Complete recommended preventative maintenance actions.
Write maintenance reports to convey current status, completed maintenance, recommended maintenance and spare parts replacement.
Support and sell preventative maintenance plans and spare parts.
Communicate effectively with vendors, customers account managers and inside customer service. Maintain long term relationships to add value to all parties.
Ability to travel up to 90%+ in the Eastern US

Skills and Requirements
Technical knowledge of Printed Circuit Board or semiconductor manufacturing required.
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, pneumatics, PLCs and pumps.
Excellent mechanical skills.
Ability to identify root cause and trouble shoot.
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
Great communication skills.
Customer facing experience
Valid Drivers License.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. null
