We are looking for a Junior Structural Design Engineer to join our Israeli team based in Kiryat Gat (office/site based – 5 Days per Week) who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you will have the chance to work on projects at some of the world’s most state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.

The current project is a semiconductor manufacturing facility. Other and future projects include data center facilities, clean rooms, science laboratories. We design of some of the most complex and specialized facilities being constructed today.

Projects for our clients include feasibility studies, long-range planning studies, and full design services including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and services during construction for design/bid/build and design/build projects.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills. They will exhibit a passion and desire to apply their technical experience and knowledge in a team environment on technically challenging and professionally rewarding projects. The candidate should understand the importance of meeting their targeted commitments while being flexible to the ever-changing and fast paced environment of our clients’ sites. While this role is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Engineer take their career to new heights, we are flexible and will consider all applications. We have experienced staff at all levels who can assist with mentoring and training.

Our Junior Structural Design Engineers:

  • Have experience in 3D modelling using Revit.

  • Have experience in Hexagon Smart Plant. This would be an advantage but is not essential. Training will be provided.

  • Create conceptual structural models based on verbal direction or rough sketches.

  • Develop detailed design drawings based on information from the Engineer including calculation output.

  • Carry out clash detection and resolve, with other members of the team, where necessary.

  • Cooperate on work executed out of remote offices/locations.

  • Take responsibility for internal, cross-discipline, and project reviews.

  • Attend project meetings and take an active role to help team resolve concerns and solve problems across all disciplines.

  • Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.

  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Have a passion for processes, buildings and construction.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • ‘Practical Engineer’ qualification in an engineering discipline as a minimum.

  • Experience in design of semiconductor manufacturing facilities is preferable.

  • Experience working on traditional steel and reinforced concrete structures.

  • Experience in proprietary systems and integrating these into design drawings and models.

  • Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam Revu.

  • Good level of English - written and spoken.

  • Ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels.
