Aston Carter Tax Manager in Kirkland, Washington
Description:
. Manage client relationships and look for opportunities to expand services provided
. Participate in business development and networking
. Communicate regularly with clients in a competent, concise, and timely manner
. Prepare individual, corporate, fiduciary and partnership tax returns
. Tax planning, projections, and research of tax-related issues
. Technical review of federal and state tax returns
. Research, document and resolve technical tax issues
. Represent clients with state agencies and IRS
. Training of staff on all of the above
Skills:
Tax, public accounting, CPA
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Licensed CPA
Minimum 10 years’ experience preparing federal and state tax returns and technical review of business and individual income tax returns
Experience in tax planning, consulting, research and compliance
Strong analytical, tax research, problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong knowledge of payroll, employment taxes and DOR reporting
Compilation and Review experience
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Supervisory experience
