Nvidia Corporation Senior Technical Program Manager - Data Engine - JR1979254 in Kirkland, Washington

At the heart of every successful artificial intelligence (AI) product is data! The Autonomous Vehicles (AV) team is searching for an experienced and highly motivated Technical Program Manager to build the future of NVIDIA's AV data flywheel and enable rapid improvements in product software ranging from driver assistance all the way to true hands-off, mind-off autonomous driving. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on feature roadmaps relating to data processing, identification and extraction of valuable data, and preparation of this data as part of an AI product lifecycle. These solutions will span technologies across infrastructure, traditional data solutions, the latest in computer vision and ML approaches, and more. Data is at the core of AI and AV and in this role you will build the essential components required to provide the best possible experience to our customers, both now and in the future. What you'll be doing:

  • Interact directly with engineering teams to define execution roadmaps from customer requirements around data analytics, extraction, processing, and preparation, both for development and production data.
  • Define and implement new processes to streamline execution and coordinate data needs across several consumer teams and to communicate progress against those needs to partners
  • Coordinate and communicate with partner teams and internal customers to resolve bottlenecks, address issues, and keep workstreams moving.
  • Develop a strong technical understanding of the stack and proactively identify areas of improvement and investment

What we need to see:

  • Driven executor with strong skills in influencing, communication, presenting, consensus and multi-functional team building across time zones
  • Proven track record in defining and implementing processes to organize and accelerate execution across entire teams or organizations. Passion in product development process and methodologies
  • Creative problem solver who can handle ambiguous situations, reach consensus, and make decisions
  • Technical ability to think creatively to resolve development issues and constraints
  • Experience working with new products and technologies and bringing them into reality, especially with managing sophisticated and innovative software
  • 12+ years of recent Product or Program Management experience
  • BS/MS Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Relevant domain knowledge (Data Platforms, Data Labeling, Computer Vision, Automotive, and/or AI).
  • Familiarity or experience with specific relevant technologies or solutions (e.g., relevant cloud infrastructure, specific data analytics engines, dataset preparation or labelling, etc.)
  • Experience in a fast-paced AI company or Autonomous Vehicle company
  • Previous experience as software engineer, software QA or systems engineer in a related space
  • Showing you always strive to learn new things, enjoy solving hard problems, and care about the end product
