Job Functions / Responsibilities Establish performance standards and objectives for the Materials organization that support overall operating objectives Provide proactive assessments of current and future material flow issues and plans to resolve Contact suppliers directly to expedite closure of major supplier quality and delivery issues Assess employee training needs and develop succession plans for critical organizational positions Assures ISO compliance within the plant Materials organization Monitor planner performance and provide feedback. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Materials Management or a related field required Master's in Business Administration preferred Five years of business experience required Preferably two years of managerial experience within PACCAR Understanding and training in Six Sigma and lean principles Excellent verbal and written communications skills Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to initiate, lead change and manage multiple functions Excellent negotiation and presentation skills Analytical and problem Why work for PACCAR/Kenworth?
