Requisition Summary This position posting is for an Engineering Section Manager overseeing the Vehicle Integration Department to meet and exceed department goals, customer needs and division strategies. This position will be responsible for leading several teams to define future controls and functionality requirements across a wide range of technological advancements, including EVs, L2/L4 ADAS platforms, and other future-facing vehicle technologies. We are looking for a team player who will be tasked with working with several other areas of engineering between PACCAR divisions globally. The ideal candidate has excellent communications skills, experience in stakeholder alignment, and a passion for implementing the latest technologies into commercial vehicles. Job Functions / Responsibilities Lead and manage 3 Vehicle Controls teams, a Vehicle Level target team, and a scope documentation team. Lead the coordination of programs/projects in areas of responsibility. Provide technical input to the Product Development Roadmap, Capital Budget, and Product Description Book Development. Develop and manage department budgets to achieve division budget goals. Lead, mentor and promote employee training and development. Prepare and deliver formal reports and presentations. Propose, plan, and implement improvements in product and process to meet organizational objectives. Coordinate engineering support activities with other PACCAR companies, departments & suppliers. Other duties and activities as assigned. Must be flexible in role. Travel25%. Qualifications Supervisory or managerial experience is required Design for Six Sigma Training and Experience is desired Phased gate product development experience preferred 7+ years of experience in an industry related role is preferred Outstanding organizational, planning and tracking skills required Creative approach to identifying solutions and problem solving is required Excellent written and verbal communication skillsrequired Strong and proven leadership experience required Education Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering is required.
