We are seeking a Electrical Designer to join our team in Kirkland, WA, to lead and work on various design build projects. In-office and hybrid work schedules available. The Electrical Designer reports to our Chief Electrical Engineer and is responsible for working on fast paced technically complex design/build projects in the power generation, public utilities power distribution systems and other industries.

How will you contribute to the team?
- Work closely with Electrical Lead to prepare designs for the assigned projects.
- Work on projects of limited complexity in a support role.
- Participate in design projects from concept to completion.
- Assist senior engineers in their tasks.
- Select electrical equipment.
- Coordinate electrical requirements with other disciplines involved on the projects.
- Coordinate drawing packages for issue.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What will you contribute?
- Minimum 5 Years experience in Electrical design, power generation, public utilities power distribution systems and similar industries.
- Proficient in AutoCAD design and drafting, as well as Microsoft office.
- Good communication skills.
- Time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Experience and knowledge of Revit/SmartPlant is an asset.
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to meet deadlines in high pressure environments.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

- Travel to client sites may be required.
