Job Details:

Salary Range: $70/hr Assists physicians in the diagnosis of cardiac, vascular and/or electro-physiological diseases by radiographic imaging of the patient’s heart and/or vascular system during peripheral vascular, coronary arteriograms, cardiac catheterizations and/or electro-physiological studies. As a part of the patient care team, performs scrub procedures, monitors patient hemodynamics during procedures, assists in providing CPR during emergency situations and monitors radiation safety for physicians, patients, and staff.

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology or invasive cardiovascular technology

Experience:

Minimum of one year’s work experience; special procedure or cardiac cath lab experience preferred

Training/License:

Cardiac or Vascular Intervention Certification preferredNY State Radiologic Technology License required

Other:

Current BLS and ACLS (within 6 months) certification required”
