Implementing methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products Incoming QC Responsible for all parts incoming quality control, notifying Engineering about non-compliance, and vendor communication if parts do not meet specification Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards Eliminating products that are not up to standards, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions Create and manage a Quality Plan Maintain UL files and support quarterly audits

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise You have 4 to 7 years of manufacturing quality control experience, including inbound materials quality inspection and P&L oversight Bachelors degree in engineering or a related discipline Six sigma green belt preferred but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with customers, suppliers, and coworkers Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, and other common business and quality control-related software. Basic knowledge of MRP ERP systems
