Responsibilities

  • Innovate and Improve: Lead transformative process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and debottlenecking efforts in a large-scale continuous production environment. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing operational excellence and efficiency.

  • R&D Excellence: Spearhead development projects, ensuring all safety, regulatory, change management, and environmental compliance requirements are met. Your innovative solutions will shape the future of our manufacturing processes.

  • Manufacturing Support: Provide timely and effective support to Operations and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues. Drive small and large capital projects, reliability initiatives, and safety programs that ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) or higher in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in a chemical plant manufacturing environment required

  • The candidate is expected to demonstrate the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment; solve difficult problems and work well with others. The candidate will be expected to both lead and serve on team projects.

  • Must be dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers; practice active listening, speak clearly and concisely, write clearly and concisely; make decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment; sets objectives and goals independently.

  • Familiarity with industrial plant environments and equipment is required.

  • Exhibit good leadership attitudes and behaviors.

  • Must be a self-starter with a focus on results. Ability to lead and drive challenging projects forward despite uncertainties.

  • Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
