Position Purpose:Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.

Hours/Shift:Full Time/Days 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. This is a 12 hr work schedule for 3 days a week. Shifts may include holidays and weekends. Enjoy extra pay for weekend hours!

Key Responsibilities:

  • LPN
    • Works under the direction of the provider and the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients in compliance with nursing standards and regulations.
    • Triage patients by phone or in person, receiving and implementing telephone physician orders, maintaining clinical communication in a dynamic environment.
    • Assists providers and staff in coordinating patient care for both clinic and procedures.
    • Performs CLIA waived lab tests and obtains specimens, performs proficiency testing and runs controls for waived tests.
    • May perform venipuncture.
  • MA
    • Responsible for patient care under the direct supervision (in the office suite or exam room) of a Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner.
    • Escorts patient to the exam room and prepares patient for the exam including vital stats, history, and reason for seeking care.
    • Cross trains in data e try, balancing of accounts, charge fees and collect payments dueSchedules/confirms appointments.
    • Performs CLIA waived lab tests and obtains specimens, performs proficiency testing and runs controls for waived tests.
    • May perform venipuncture.
