Two95 International Inc. DataStage Developer in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Title: DataStage Developer

Location: King of Prussia, PA

Duration: 6 months

Interview: Phone then Face to Face is preferred.

DAY TO DAY:

1.Responsible for Break/Fix Analysis and including development and implementation to ensure production applications are available as defined by the SLA

2.Participate in Agile team meetings including Planning, Poker sessions, Daily-stand ups, and retrospectives.

3.Work on the prioritize set forth and determined by the Product owners and management team.

ESSENTIALS:

1.Possess a broad range of knowledge in support of multiple custom built applications with strong background in IBM Infosphere DataStage, SQL, SQL Performance Tuning

2.Technical Skills including the following:

-Experience in upgrading from Datastage 8.7 to 11.7

-Development of new or modification of Existing Datastage Jobs

-Oracle 11g/12c running in a UNIX environment

-Database script generation and formalization

-Database design, modifications and improvements for transactional systems

-Data normalization/denormalization

-Design and modification of Advanced queries, Triggers, Stored procedures – PL/SQL

-Performance Testing (Database Performance tuning for real-time service calls, tuning of Conversion process)

-Batch Job-Scheduling, monitoring, and interface processing

-Experience working with Large scale applications with large amount of data

-ETL Knowledge, mapping, troubleshooting. IBM DataStage

-Knowledge of alternative SQL, general understanding and the ability to write queries.

-Solid understanding of the SDLC and various development efforts such as debugging and unit testing

-Knowledge in tuning and performance monitoring

-Experience writing technical design documents, or documenting implementations

3.Strong Interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, communication and negotiation.

4.Outstanding communication and leadership skills

5.Excellent business English (both spoken and written)

6.Able to work in a very fast-paced open environment

7.Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of attention and quality, details, correctness and deadlines.

8.Must have the proven ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.
