Lockheed Martin Customer Trainer Staff in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Description: This position is in support of Global Sustainment (GS) product design and delivery for RMS-C6ISR programs in Valley Forge, PA. The successful candidate will support development of all tasks associated with technical publications (TP) and training, with a focus on training development and conduct. The position requires that the hiring candidate writes, rewrites, and/or edits training materials as well as technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, and related technical documents to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences. The person selected for this position must acquire subject knowledge through familiarization of the system(s) through hands-on operation and by interviewing product developers and referring to technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering illustrations. The successful candidate shall also develop, and present instructional materials and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, development of instructor led training and course content, identifying student learning objectives, preparation of course syllabi, lesson plans, testing, development of student manuals and the evaluation and quality assurance of training materials and procedures. The candidate must be familiar with identifying required engineering source data and incorporating approved information into support products.

This position requires basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and maintenance processes. The candidate will provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support during formal training courses. The candidate will develop training material specific to the program, which will be used for official training and periodic training refreshers. Selected candidate must be a confident public speaker and have excellent written communications skills. Candidate must be able to interface with customer representatives and leadership as well as LM Program leadership. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:

To be qualified to interview for this role, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

- Basic Instructor Skills

- Technical expertise with ability to impart knowledge, skills, and understanding of the RMS-C6ISR program systems to product end-users.

- The selected candidate must also be proficient in the MS Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.

- Excellent people skills and ability to communicate with people at varying professional levels

- Demonstrated team leadership

- This position requires travel to other locations as needed. Overall travel is estimated at 10-20%.

- Active Top-Secret clearance (TS/SCI)

PLEASE NOTE:

- Applicants selected must successfully pass a background investigation and drug test.

Additionally, any roles requiring Department of Defense Security Clearances will require US Citizenship.

Desired Skills:

Preferably, you should also have these desired skills:

- The selected candidate must have professional writing experience, including editing and proofreading.

-Network training experience

- Logistics engineering skills

- Air Defense and Mission Planning experience

- Familiar with Radio Frequency (RF) Communications and Command & Control (C2) systems

- Experience working with engineering personnel in determination of system capabilities and schedules and will be required to schedule and lead product testing in the laboratory.

-Experience in planning and conducting training for product end-users and stakeholders.

-Familiarity with agile software development processes.

- Experience developing operations or maintenance training for complex electronic systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
